From the time the Lord called me into His service until now I have known He was angry. The first time He appeared to me, regarding the children, I was quite taken back by the fury in His eyes. I knew then we were in big trouble and began warning of the coming judgment. I wrote so passionately about it that people feared for my life. But the danger I was seeing was futuristic and, as time passed, even I began to think it wouldn't come for many years. I prayed that people would repent and He would forgive.

Here we are years later and the children keep dying. After Tiller closed, some of his associates went elsewhere to satisfy their need to kill. And I read recently where Planned Parenthood is opening a mega-mill so that they can kill children even more efficiently. Horror of horrors!

Whatever grace period we may have had is over. We are seeing calamity after calamity, yet we keep on shedding innocent blood. We just can't seem to see the forest for the trees. I tell you the truth; innocent blood cries out and He is listening. It is to our detriment that we have failed to make the connection.

This nation is on the brink of destruction. We are about to be called to account for our actions or lack thereof by the most Holy God. This isn't about Obama. I'm certain he doesn't realize it, but he is a mere pawn in the Lord's hand. We have put ourselves above God's law; valued our wealth, our luxury, and our comfort far above His will. And now we will be punished.

It is time to fall upon one's knees and beg mercy while there is still time. Praise Him from the moment you wake until you return to sleep at night. Walk filled with the Spirit and keep yourself from sin. Avoid the entanglements of daily life as best you can. (I do not mean that you should stop all activity but, rather that you should make pleasing Him your primary goal.) If you are able to fast, now is the time. Immerse yourself in His word and be filled by His Spirit. Devour His word as though your life depended on it. Remember the virgins with their lamps and oil? Tank up now. It may be too late tomorrow. No one need be caught outside the wedding feast.

Gather with those you know to be of like mind. Do not be afraid, though, to stay out of the churches. Many have traded the truth for wealth and position. Do not be deceived. Those who worship such do not belong to Him. (Some will think I am passing judgment. I assure you, I am not. I am speaking what I've been told.) Pray and fast together while searching the scriptures. Commit yourselves to Him and seek out His guidance. He is our only hope.

As a nation we have promoted iniquity as though it were righteousness; completely covered ourselves in innocent blood; and, yet, still believe ourselves untouchable. God has not been fooled by our rationalizing. We are not His people if we do not obey Him. It really is that simple. We are saved by grace, but if truly saved we will be obedient. It is a vicious lie that one can live like hell and be full of grace. Yet, many teach just that. They are wolves sent by the evil one to deceive the ungrounded.

It is natural to be concerned with the things of the world right now. Our economy is crumbling; our nation is being dissolved . . . one could focus on nothing else. But do not be deceived, our relationship with the Lord is the ONLY thing that truly matters. Nations come and go. Monetary systems are built and destroyed. Only the soul remains. If we focus on Him, even in this kind of storm, we will have peace.

It is more important now to reach out to the lost and hurting around us than to protect our possessions, rebuild our wealth, etc. All these things are passing away anyway. How will you keep them if He has determined to destroy them? You cannot. No one can. But He has food for His children that doesn't require money and shelter that isn't dependant on their ability to pay. So, plant His seeds instead. For the harvest that He gives will reach maturity and pay better dividends than anything else you can put effort into.

Few truly understand what it means to be punished by the all-powerful God. I do. Trust me, you want to be in His will. Just as no one can pluck the saved from His hand, no one He intends to punish can escape His wrath. Jonah tried and so have countless others. There simply is no place to go that He can't reach you.

In closing let me say that I do not say these things just to you, but to myself as well. I have a tendency to not want to look at what I know to be true when it entails His wrath. It is agony. From the outside one thinks that to see the wicked punished will be acceptable, in reality the heart breaks. Someone once said, "There but for the grace of God, go I." I believe this is how we should see it. For we are all literally worthless without the grace He gives us.

Some think that we who serve write or speak to commend ourselves. Anyone who really serves the Lord knows that would be pure foolishness. On the one hand, we expose ourselves to rampant ridicule and on the other, if our words are contrary to His, we risk severe punishment. (I always think of the priest who was mauled by the lion for not following orders.) Therefore, I tremble at even the thought of speaking amis and prayfully sumit everything before Him before sharing. It is only when I'm absolutely certain it's His message that I dare to post.
